November 2022 at Maplecrest

From the Administrator

November has arrived! The year is winding down and the holidays are fast approaching. Thanksgiving is always a wonderful time of year to enjoy food and family. But it is also a time to reflect on all we have to be thankful for. In these chaotic times in which we live, it can be hard to slow down and think about the many blessings we all have in this life. I encourage you to take some time this month to think about all the great things in your lives to be thankful for. I am always thankful for the opportunity to serve our residents and for the wonderful team of staff members at Maplecrest that dedicate so much time and energy in service to others.

I hope that everyone is pleased with the recent renovations to the facility. As I walk around, I am proud of the end result. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we worked through the renovations. I know it has taken some time! Thank you to the team from Ryan Carpet, Gary Frye, and Nikki Frye for all of your efforts in helping us make these wonderful improvements to our facility. We are continuing to look at ways to upgrade and improve our building, and we will share that information as it gets closer.

As stated in prior newsletters, we continue to deal with Covid-19. With fall/winter upon us, we anticipate an increase in community cases of Covid as well as the seasonal flu. If you are not feeling well at any point, please refrain from visiting. Our staff have done a great job managing Covid-19 throughout this pandemic, and we will continue to focus on providing the best care possible to our residents moving forward. Your assistance in helping keep everyone safe is greatly appreciated. Also, just another reminder to please make sure we have accurate contact information on record. We utilize a communication application to send text alerts with required updates for Covid-19 activity in the facility.
I pray that you all have a wonderful month and that you have the opportunity to spend time with loved ones.

Thank you!

God Bless,
Clinton Ansell
